Attendees will be encouraged to visualize and design an app. They will break into groups and identify a problem or social injustice and create an app to solve this issue. The girls will brainstorm on who their targeted audience is, what industry this app fits in, the theme, and what devices the app would run on. The teams then presents their app to the rest of the group.

This energetic and engaging workshop combines instruction with art, and Elie will be showing girls how she turns her passion and designs into a business. Want to start a business but think it’s too hard?
