Christiane Waldron graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1994. She has since worked for large biopharmaceutical companies building plants. Crime Stoppers of Houston
The Crime Stoppers of Houston’s Safe School Program has been keeping schools safe since 1997 by providing students with a safe and anonymous way to report crime and potential dangers on campus and in the community. In addition to the Tip Line, safety presentations are offered to students with an underlining message of good citizenship and keeping themselves safe. Training is available to school staff and school-based law enforcement officers to assist in keeping students and schools safe. Parents are presented with tools and tips for keeping their child safe. Lizzie was born with a rare syndrome. At this time there are only 2 other people in the world that are known to be living with this rare syndrome. In December 2013, she took the stage at the inaugural TEDxAustinWomen and gave a talk titled “How Do You Define Yourself?” that has garnered over 13 million views across the web. Her story has been featured on Katie Couric, The Today Show, The View, Huffington Post, Associated Press, AOL, MSN, and Yahoo! among many other national and international media outlets. She is an Executive Producer of the award-winning documentary based on her life, “A BRAVE HEART: The Lizzie Velasquez Story,” which chronicles her journey from cyber bullying victim to global anti-bullying activist. A BRAVE HEART premiered opening weekend of the 2014 South By Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival and went on to win the Audience Award in its category and top honors at every festival it participated in. The film had an Academy-qualifying release in the U.S. in Fall 2015 and began its international release in Spring 2016. She specializes in healthy teen girl development and her programs inspire tween/teen girls and young women to build confidence, make positive decisions, and genuinely love themselves; while empowering their parents to maintain connected and have healthy communication throughout adolescence.
Known as “The Queen of Empowering Teens,” Keisha has a special way of connecting with girls that empowers them to want to excel in school and life – with confidence; many call her “The Girl Whisperer.” After 10 years of experience as a school teacher and school guidance Counselor, Keisha developed a knack for motivating girls at a soul level, and then made it her life’s mission to both empower girls and educate parents on the latest topics and trends that relate to developing today’s generation of healthy girls. She wants girls to fall in love with themselves and have unshakeable confidence that allows them to avoid peer pressure & accomplish their dreams, while also making sure girls feel comfortable talking to their moms, and moms feel comfortable connecting and communicating with their daughters.
She is the Founder of PEARL Girls, a self-esteem and etiquette organization for girls that was recognized in 2014 with the #Beygood endorsement by Beyonce. Keisha’s first book, The Inner-Beauty Secret, is a 2015 Gold Award recipient from the Mom’s Choice Awards. A lifetime learner, Keisha received both her Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas. She possesses a State Board of Educator Certification in both Teaching and Professional School Counseling, and is also a Certified Life Coach Practitioner and Certified Etiquette Consultant.
